On 29 and 30 November 2011 a working conference was held at Tilburg University where care ethicists from various European countries gathered, introduced themselves to each other and exchanged plans for future collaboration. The idea of collaboration was endorsed by all attendents and will be taken up in the future by organising conferences,  maintaining a book series and sharing this website Ethicsofcare.org.
