Course: Nursing ethics

Nurses occupy specific positions within health care. This results in them being confronted by ethically sensitive issues. The course offered in December 2015 aims to foster exchanges on foundational and methodological approaches as well as on contemporary and educational issues in nursing ethics. 

The 5th Edition of the Intensive Course on Foundational Approaches, Contemporary and Educational Issues in the Field of Nursing Ethics will be held in Leuven (Belgium) on 1 – 4 december 2015. This course works from an interdisciplinary (philosophical, theological, nursing, clinical-ethical) perspective.

During the course, national and international experts will give presentations on various topics in the domain of nursing ethics. Key note speaker is Riitta Suhonen of the of Department of Nursing Science at the University of Turku, Finland. There will be time for intensive discussions.
