From the 15th till the 17th of September 2016 research group Anthropos (Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, KU Leuven) will organize a conference on the following theme: Relation, Vulnerability, Love.
Through different parallel sessions we want to address questions both on what it means to be human (theological anthropology) and on how such a reflection should be undertaken (methodology). The terms ‘Relation, Vulnerability and Love’ indicate the focus. We welcome papers from theologians, ethicists, anthropologists, philosophers, and any researchers open to participate in the debate on theological anthropology in dialogue with a wide range of disciplines, and in relation to concrete life situations. Inspiration for potential paper proposals can be found by considering the different perspectives and themes our keynote speakers and respondents deal with.
Proposals for short papers (presentations of 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of interaction) are welcome.
The abstract submission deadline is May 15, 2016.
All abstracts should be submitted electronically to anthropos@theo.kuleuven.be.
Please send in the following two documents as Word attachments:
