In 2017, both the International Care Ethics Observatory of the University of Surrey (UK) and the Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Law of the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) will organize the 18th Nursing Ethics Conference and the 3rd International Ethics in Care Conference.  An excellent occasion to reflect on the present and future challenges and opportunities for ethics in nursing and care.
The focus of this year’s conference is on a variety of highly relevant ethical issues in nursing and care:

• Ethical Issues in Care for older People
• Ethics Education in Nursing and Care
• Ethical Issues in End-of-Life Care
• Organizational Ethical Issues in Nusing and Care

We invite you to share your insights on the above mentioned topics with colleagues from all over the world. The historic town center of Leuven hosting the oldest university of the Low Countries provides excellent opportunities to meet each other academically as well as in social activities.

Persons wishing to present papers at parallel sessions are invited to submit an abstract addressing the ethical dimensions of the main conference topics (500 words maximum) before March 1, 2017. However, submissions on other topics are allowed.
