Trees Coecke is a bachelor nurse and master in nursing science. She is a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Vives Bruges (bachelor degree) and at the school for nursing RHIZO HBO5 (graduate degree) at Bruges. She was admitted as a PhD student to the Graduate School of the University of Humanistic Studies in Utrecht in 2015.
