Lectures by Carol Gilligan on Feminist Ethics of Care

Carol Gilligan is a famous American ethicist, feminist and psychologist. Her book In a Different Voice on moral development and ethical relationships was a stepping stone for the development of care ethics.She is currently a Professor of Humanities and Applied Psychology at New York University.

In two lectures, Carol Gilligan discusses a feminist ethics of care.

Carol Gilligan presents her lecture entitled ‘Reframing the Conversation about Difference: The Contribution of Feminist Care Ethics’ at the 2012-2013 Mellon Sawyer Seminar Series at The Graduate Center, CUNY. This is followed by commentary from Virginia Held, Distinguished Professor in Philosophy at the Graduate Center, CUNY.

Carol Gilligan delivers the lecture ‘Resisting injustice: a Feminist Ethics of care’ at Josep Egozcue Lectures, organised by the Víctor Grífols Foundation for Bioethics.
